Talk about a total waste of money, time and energy figuring out when/if items may arrive, and concerned it may arrive when during the time of being stuck indoors waiting, decide to take a chance by urgently going to the store. There's nothing 'Royal' about this overpriced mail system that puts a whole new meaning on the word R [ip] O [ff] B [ritain]!

Hampton, United Kingdom • 4 months agoWhen RM app logs you out - it’s due to a current error - when it’s been fixed you can login as normal - it’s NOT your password at fault, it says ‘wrong password’ when there’s a site or app error, just so you know. Before changing your password check login on RM website - it won’t work until they fix the error in their programming

This happens sometimes for no apparent reason and also every time there’s some sort of update in the programming. There’s also no way to delete the addresses when arranging a collection! I showed a friend how to book a collection & now their name and address stuck in my app - the account is mine - ridiculous - didn’t even book any collection with their details but can’t delete it. Where do they get their code writers/tech support?

It's not just today. Every time I order something the royal mail lets me down. Temu tracking is more useful. Considering that the royal mail is possibly the most respected postal service in the world, how it's gone down the toilet is unforgivable. Website is absolutely rubbish. When am I getting my stuff?

RM does not repond to email complaint. Each evening I receive RM emails confirming failed collection - the RM website also says each item has a failed collection. Now I have a failed collection and no delivery - £35 item lost.
Why does RM have a system that worked, that it now decides to break. Scan on collection - no let's not bother - let's ensure it fails - insane

When I use the website, once I've entered the tracking number, I also get an error message.
No point phoning, just end up on hold and I give up after over 30 minutes of being on hold.

Cannot track at all on any browser. The tracking page just requests constant verification and when the initial verification is complete and you click on 'track your delivery', it requests the verification again without providing any tracking information.

Also posted a parcel £12.15 Special Delivery next day by 1pm which it is now 15.25 pm and the tracking has stopped still at my local depot. What is going on. I purposely sent the parcel with this service as it is expensive so this was a guarantee it would arrive.

At the Post Office, I was told that the QR codes are invalid. I tried again this afternoon. Same problem. This time, the surly counter assistant told me to try again in a couple of days! This is no-one's fault, but very inconvenient, nonetheless, when one wishes to use the service.

They charge you extra for the service, which is fair enough, but then more often than not their system isn't working and you cannot track and trace anything. When checking Royal Mail tracking website, one reference number shows delivered, the other 2 show the message "Sorry there was a problem please try again" and showed no tracking info. I paid for next day as I needed the item to arrive today for an occasion tomorrow....well Royal 'Fail' didn't surprise me! Item not arrived so whole purpose of the gift is now out the window. They definitely were! Now can’t log in to check online status. As it’s weekend then the Bank `holiday I guess I’ll be in the dark until they fix the website next week.
